There are new and existing businesses that need a physical office
front, but incurring the expense of leasing an office space can put
a strain on their budget. Some businesses are not zoned to run their
operations from home and maintaining a professional image is a must.
So what do you do about your financial operational dilemma? Try
investigating the services of an executive suite.
Many areas have executive offices that provide a “Home Office Plan”
designed to solve the problem of having a physical office front.
These executive suites offer businesses an option, where you pay a
nominal fee per month and receive services that are conducive to
personally operating your own office.
The executive suites monthly fee offers the following services:
1. Receptionist: A live receptionist and not an automated operator
will professionally answer the phone using your business name,
generally during normal business hours. You will need to notify the
receptionist when you will be out of town or unavailable. It helps
the staff to handle your telephone calls in a professional manner.
2. Personal Telephone Number: You receive your personal telephone
line, allowing the receptionist to knowingly answer incoming calls
with your business name.
3. Conference Room: Normally, most home office plans include access
to use their conference room with an assigned amount of hours per
month. You will need to make reservations with the receptionist as
far in advance as possible to schedule usage time. You can purchase
additional hours if needed. Most conference rooms are equipped with
a white board, TV, DVD, telephone with speakerphone, VCR, overhead
projector, etc.
4. Physical Mailing Address: Your business will have a physical
mailing address, so that you can receive regular mail and special
deliveries (i.e. Fedex, UPS, DSL, etc.).
5. Fax number: You will be assigned a fax number to receive or send
faxes. Prices for communication services are applicable.
6. Voice Mailbox: Your incoming calls can go directly to your voice
mailbox during regular business hours and/or normal business hours.
The receptionist can send your incoming calls to your mobile phone
or another number if you request it during the day.
7. Copier Access Number: Assigned when you need to use the copy
machine. There are charges applicable for self and full service
photocopying.
Generally the staff includes a receptionist, administrative
assistants and a manager. If you are generating revenue, you must
have a business privilege license in that county. You can purchase
additional services offered by the staff such as: preparing word
processing presentations, typing, color printing, PowerPoint
presentations, mailing services, conference room rentals, coffee
service for your guests and dictating services.
Depending on the location of your executive suite, the monthly fee
will be a fraction of the cost to run a full fledged office. And
here’s another perk: you don’t have to incur the added expense of
paying employee benefits for this office staff. A “Home Office Plan”
gives you all of the advantages of having access to a professional
staff in a professional office environment. This can be a workable
solution to your business’ daily operations. So, if you’re looking
for an efficient, cost effective option to run the clerical portion
of your business, without ripping a hole in your pockets, shop
several executive suites to see which “Home Office Plan” package is
best suited for your budget.
